The snakes are inspired from the folk art in Horezu, Romania - which is very well known for its pottery. The artworks were the beginning of a larger project, which is about traditions, superstitions and sayings about wild animals that live close to our homes. The snake has a very strong symbolism not only in Romanian culture, but in so other many places around the world.
